F-O-A 2.5 Inch ID Coil Over Shock, 14 Inch Travel

This shock was the inspiration for our entire company. To build a quality 2.5 coilover shock that could be priced for the masses. These 2.5 bodied shocks cost about as much as the competitions 2.0’s. Once you hold one of these in your hand, you’ll know we hit the mark. We start with a 2.5 DOM body and machine in a large ACME thread to ease preload adjustment. We add full billet aluminum top caps and lower rod ends with replaceable heims. A fully rebuildable and revalvable piston/shim arrangement gives endless possibilities. Our billet seal head is set up with Buna-N seals, good for temps of 250 degrees, plus we offer a Viton seal upgrade that can handle temps up to 400 degrees for you hard chargers. The plated and hardened chrome 7/8 shaft ensures you that your shock is made for the long haul. Our upper spring preload adjuster can be easily adjusted and uses an allen wrench to lock it in place.

Our smaller shocks (6-8″) can be set up with a single coil spring, or you can opt for a dual rate setup as well. The larger shocks will all require the dual rate hardware…a $25 option that gets you the spring floater (divider) and a crossover adjustment nut for tuning options.

All FOA products carry a 1 year warranty against defects if 1 limit strap is purchased per shock absorber ordered.

All shocks/bumpstops ship without nitrogen charge and will need to be charged before usage.
