F-O-A 2.5 Inch ID Coil Over Shock w/ Reservoir, 8 Inch Travel

The F-O-A 2.5” Coil Over Shock with Remote Reservoir was the inspiration for our entire company. Our goal was to build a quality 2.5” Coil Over Shock that could be priced for the masses. Starting at just over $200 these 2.5” ID bodied shocks cost about as much as the competitions 2.0” shocks and once you hold one of our shocks in your hands, you’ll know we hit the mark!

We start with a 2.5” DOM SSI steel tube and machine in a fine ACME thread for quick and accurate spring preload adjustments. We then add billet aluminum top caps and lower rod ends with replaceable COM-9 spherical heim bearings. Our re-buildable billet seal head is set up with Buna-N seals and can withstand temperatures up to 250 degrees. A Viton seal upgrade that can handle temps up to 400 degrees for you hard chargers is also available as an upgrade. The hardened and chrome plated 7/8” shaft ensures you that your shock is made to withstand the harshest abuse you can throw at it. All shocks are equipped with a re-valuable 6061 billet aluminum shock piston that makes tailoring your F-O-A Shocks a snap. The large F-O-A Remote Reservoir uses a dual O-ring IFP (internal floating piston) to keep the oil and air separated; this ensures more consistent performance and aids in lowering harsh shock temperatures.

Our smaller coil over shocks (6-8″) can be set up with a single or dual rate coil springs. F-O-A Shocks (10-20”) will all require the Dual Rate Hardware a $25 upgrade option that gets you the spring divider and a crossover adjustment nut (dual rate stop).

The F-O-A 2.5” Coil Over Shocks w/ Remote Reservoir are available in lengths from 6” to 20” and are compatible with any 3.0” spring.

F-O-A Shocks are custom built to order in Las Vegas, Nevada USA and come with minimum 6 month warranty. Orders typically ship within 14 business days from the receipt of order. All products are custom built to order, and as such delays are possible depending upon current order levels.

All F-O-A products carry a 1 year warranty against defects if 1 limit strap is purchased per shock absorber ordered.

All shocks/bumpstops ship without nitrogen charge and will need to be charged before usage.
